In kNOw Sports imagines a future where the local sports oval has been “SOLD,” hinting at a world where housing and development slowly erase the open fields where we once played, trained, and learned teamwork. The work gently asks whether sport might one day live mostly in memory—or in virtual simulations—rather than on real grass under real skies. At the centre stands a whimsical figure built entirely from the gear of 19 different sports, its mismatched limbs and faces turning the artwork into a visual puzzle as well as a social comment. Viewers are invited to spot and name all 19 sports, turning the piece into a conversation starter about what we lose, and what we keep, when play is pushed to the margins of city life.
