Domestic violence and suicide are among the most confronting social issues we face today. The root causes and full extent are often hidden until it is too late, and the seriousness of domestic violence is growing at an alarming rate. Victims are frequently left to fend for themselves and their children, with devastating consequences. Potential support networks may be unaware of what is happening or unwilling to intervene, leaving the victim living beside a ticking time bomb. The hard, cold reality is that support services and law enforcement are often unable to act until after serious harm has occurred.“ Time to Leave” is not about art. It is about using whatever platform is available—even a small one—to push for awareness and action.  It's never too late to act and it's never too late to ask.
